After getting I don't know how many questions about my dolls I've decided to make my own FAQ about them.
So if you have a question about them after I made this I will give you this link, read it and if you still have questions after that I'll be happy to answer them.
So enjoy the read it's also for fun reading!

============================================
Q1) WHAT the hell are these dolls?!Well I think you've answered your own question there, they are dolls!
But to be more exact "Asian Ball Jointed Dolls" (aka ABJD). They are from asia, made from poly-urethane more commenly known as
resin in this hobby. They are kept together by long strings of elastic that go from the head through the body to the legs and feet and back up to the head. The arms are stringed from wrist to wrist. They can move like us because they have joints, which started out as balls but nowadays they are a bit different looking. Sizes differ between the 10 and 80cm and more sizes are created still.
We usually call them "Super Dollfies" but this isn't really correct. Super Dollfie is a name created by a Japanese doll company called "Volks" and they took the name from Figurines, or in in this case "Doll figurines". And Japanese are known for shortening words and this became "Dollfie" they just added Super or Mini Super to show the size.
Q2) Why spend so much on a doll?!Every hobby is expensive if you are really into it. These dolls are made by real artists and casted/painted by hand. They are made by order so that results in a higher price. Value will not go down [maybe slightly depending on what type it is and damages]. Limiteds will most likely rise in value.
Q3) What's your spending total?hehe....a lot! Lets just say $7500+ and keep it at that
Q4) How long have you been into this hobby?Around 7 1/2 years now.
Q5) WHY do you have these dolls? To satisfy my own perverted LUST!!! HOHOHO

......*cough* not really, why do we have hobbies? Why does one person collect stamps and why does the other collect earwax...no idea! It's a hobby, a passion...it's a way to spend money using an excuse like "
but he's pretty~!!!"
Q6) Are you some kind of FREAK???Are you?

..These dolls are not weird or scary IMO. If you think that I am a freak or if you think these dolls are dead scary, I don't see or have the need to read that from you. Keep it to yourself. I don't tell you that you are an
anal arsehole either.
Q7) Why do you photograph them (because it's kinda weird)?Well why shouldn't I? Some like to take photos of grannies, dead flowers the other of naked little children

....see I'm not that weird! I just have a love for beautiful things both real and not real.
Q8) This reminds me of anime/manga/Jrock.Well the common name for these dolls is of course "Super Dollfie". And Dollfie stands for "Doll figurine" so they were inspired by Japanese (anime/manga) figurines. Old molds are usually very anime styled [big eyes and VERY tiny and pointy noses] But the new wave is more for the realistic looking headmolds. Most people in this hobby are also fan of Jrock/Kpopbands, yaoi, Lolita and other Japanese/Korean related things [yes we really are that lame]. So they style their dolls that way. Most male doll characters are also very gay and like to hump other male dolls in their spare time and during doll meet ups.
Q9) Did you make them?No I didn't, I'm not that good and never will be. If I was I'd already have a much bigger harem of made after Jrock and Kpop gods with even hotter bodies!
Q10) Can I have your dolls?Of course....if I plan on selling them and if you offer enough. I don't do charity.
Q11) I'm pretty sure that this is nothing more than a big version of Barbie!Well good for you, I'm glad that your place of a hole sells Barbies. But these dolls aren't. These can actually spread their legs! And have male/female parts [sorry Ken!]! Yes they are anatomically correct and no the focal point is not THAT of the whole doll. Mine are ALL male, no girldoll will EVER set foot in my house and if she does she is usually not mine, sold right after arriving or will be turned male.
Q12) Do you do all the faceups yourself, if yes, do you take faceup commissions?Yes I do them all myself, and no I'm not planning to restart doing faceups again for other people.
Q13) How do you do faceups??Well if I told you that I'd have to kill you...

But materials I use are: Schmincke pastels, Caran d'ache and Karisma pencils, Tamiya gloss and MSC flat. All very HQ and expensive!
Q14) So okay where can I find/buy these dolls? Here's a list of doll companies...not all but the ones I could remember. You can only buy them online, or if you live in Korea, Japan or one of the Asian countries these companies have actual stores, you can buy them there.
Some companies have actual stores in the US now and there are dealers for some as well.

[link]Q15) Where do you buy clothing, wigs, shoes, etc for your dolls?I'm a BIG fan of Iple House, Cheerydoll and LUTS for clothing. I tend to stalk Leekeworld for shoes and wigs. For eyes I mostly buy 11mm Eyeco eyes at Safrindoll.
Q16) Who are your heros?I'm a big fan of "
Avvelenato" her faceups and styling are always impeccable, and her doll collection is just as fabulous <3
If I have others I either forgot their name or they just look a lot less next to Avvelenato XD
Q17) More info about your dolls? My
Jrock, Kpop artists and "Me" heads are all from Doll in Mind (the Minimee project). Denny Kim, the owner is the most wonderful person I have EVER met! My adoration for him is around the same level as "I wanna have your babies" but not quite!
They are ALL around the 63cm, male and HOT! Sorry I can't stop myself from not ordering hot looking dolls.
Each celeb head will only be made in VERY small quantities and after that they will not cast it anymore...most have reached that level already. Bodies I use for them are Senior Delf male in real skin and a DIM Minimee body.
Tanaka is a Dollshe SA Bermann and bought from Tensiya [ruled by 2 very charming ladies! <3], he is 70cm and also a limited [nr 05 of 33 worldwide] and will also never be made anymore. Secondhand prices for dolls like him are pretty high (think $4000 and up).
Ruelle is a AiL Bertram and I got him as a gift from a wonderful person. His head is standard and you can order him from
Alice in LabyrinthTseng and Vintage are from SOOM. Tseng is a modded Mecha Angel Deneb male and is 80cm tall and Vintage is a modded Super Gem Dia male and is 65cm tall. They aren't mine anymore.

Well that's it for now if I get more Q's that aren't on here I'll add them as well or answer them in a reply <3

They still kinda creep me out a bit...
But I'm starting to warm up to them.
Yay for people who spend a crap load of money on really life-like dolls & then take pictures of them!

Maybe you can add where some your dolls' eyes, wigs, etc. come from... I get asked that a lot >.>;. (Lots of times I reply with "I don't remember..." cause I don't XD) You probably will too if you don't already.
